Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held separate meetings on Friday with the US Special Envoy for Iran, Robert Malley, and US National Security Council Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa Brett McGurk. The meetings took place on the sidelines of the 76th UN General Assembly in New York.
The Saudi FM and Malley discussed enhancing joint action and the latest developments towards the nuclear program. They also touched on the latest regional and international developments.
During his meeting with McGurk, Prince Faisal discussed enhancing joint coordination; to lay the foundations for security and stability in the Middle East. The two officials also discussed the latest developments in the regional and international arenas.
Earlier, Prince Faisal also discussed with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov bilateral relations; and means to support and enhance them in various fields.
They also exchanged views on the latest developments in the region and the world and efforts made towards them.
Prince Faisal also met with Estonian Foreign Minister Eva-Maria Liimets. They discussed bilateral relations and ways to support and enhance them to serve common interests and exchange views on regional and international issues.
