Saudi defenses on Saturday intercepted and destroyed two drones fired by Houthi militia towards Khamis Mushayt in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia from Yemen, Saudi Arabian-led intervention in Yemen said.

theCoalition to Support legitimacy in Yemen, announced last Thursday that it interceptedand shot down two drones, fired by the Houthi militia from Amran provincetowards Saudi Arabia.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the coalition spokesman, Colonel Turki Al-Maliki said that the coalition forces managed to intercept and shoot down two drones fired by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia from Amran province towards Khamis Mushayt.

The two drones were fired by Houthi terrorist militias on Khamis Mushayt, southern Saudi Arabia.

TheCoalition has long maintained that Houthi militias are attempting to targetcivilian installations and civilian objects in miserable and repeated attempts,without achieving any of their irresponsible targets and hostilities as thesedrones are always detected and dropped, confirming the legitimate right of theKingdom to take and implement appropriate deterrent measures to deal with suchhostilities in line with the international humanitarian law and its customaryrules.
