Saudi Arabia's Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Deputy Minister of Defense, met at the US State Department in Washington today with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
Upon his arrival at the US State Department headquarters, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz wrote down a statement in the visit book.
Afterwards during the meeting, they reviewed the historicalrelations between the two friendly countries, aspects of bilateral cooperationin various fields, and discussed developments and events in the region, inaddition to stressing the two countries' standing side by side in confrontingIranian hostile activities and in combating extremism and terrorism, and theimportance of protecting freedom of navigation in international waters and therole of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen to restore security andstability to it.
The meeting was attended by Princess Rima Bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Ambassador to the United States, and a number of US officials.
