Concerning the relations with the US, Crown Prince said that he does not care whether U.S. President Joe Biden misunderstood things about him and said the U.S. leader should be thinking about America’s interests.

The crown prince tackled the issue of Khashoggi’s murder, saying: “I never read a Khashoggi article in my life…. “If that’s the way we did things”—murdering authors of critical op-eds—“Khashoggi would not even be among the top 1,000 people on the list. If you’re going to go for another operation like that, for another person, it’s got to be professional and it’s got to be one of the top 1,000.”

Crown Prince also added said it was “obvious” he had not ordered the killing of Khashoggi. “It hurt me a lot,” he said. “It hurt me and it hurt Saudi Arabia, from a feelings perspective.”
