Saudi Arabia welcomes Libyan 6+6 Committee's agreement on preparation of election laws

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Executive Director of the Saudi Accreditation Center (SAC), was elected president of the Arab Accreditation Cooperation (ARAC) via unanimous vote by ARAC member states during the 11th General Assembly held in Riyadh today.

SAC Executive Director Dr. Adel bin Abdulrahman Alkeaid will head the next ARAC session, representing a national confirmation of the prominent and quality position of the Kingdom's infrastructure in light of the unlimited support of the wise leadership.

Dr. Alkeaid expressed gratitude to Amina Mohamed, the current session's president, for her efforts to lead ARAC.

He also expressed appreciation to all member states' confidence in him leading the cooperation in the future.

ARAC was established in 2008 after a decision made by the Ministerial Council of the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDSMO), which includes 21 national accreditation entities.
