Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has continued distributing copies of the Holy Quran to departing Hajj pilgrims through border crossings in the Eastern Region as part of a gift program sponsored by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
The ministry said more than 10,400 copies of the Quran and its translated editions had been distributed by Dhu Al-Hijjah 16, 1447 AH, to pilgrims returning to their home countries after completing the annual pilgrimage.
The initiative forms part of the Kingdom's efforts to serve pilgrims throughout their Hajj journey and provide them with a commemorative religious gift upon departure.
According to the ministry, the Quran copies have been well received by pilgrims, who value their spiritual significance. Officials said the program reflects Saudi Arabia's continued commitment to caring for pilgrims until they leave the Kingdom following the completion of Hajj rites.
