The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned the terrorist attack claimed by an extremist left-wing group that targeted electricity supplies in the German capital, Berlin, causing power outages that affected tens of thousands of homes, hospitals, and vital facilities.
In a statement issued by its General Secretariat, MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa renewed the MWL’s firm rejection of violence and terrorism in all their forms and under any pretexts.
He expressed solidarity with and sympathy for the German people and the affected families during this critical time, particularly in light of the low temperatures and the serious threat posed to the lives of thousands of civilians.
