Last night, Northern Borders Region witnessed a stunning celestial conjunction of the Moon and Jupiter, alongside the stars Pollux and Castor.
Astronomy and Space Club member Adnan Khalifa noted that while this conjunction is a recurring astronomical phenomenon, its clarity this time was exceptional.
The region’s clear skies and minimal light pollution provided an ideal opportunity for observation with both the naked eye and astronomical telescopes.
This event is part of a series of astronomical phenomena currently visible in the Kingdom’s skies, offering amateur astronomers and astrophotographers the chance to experience the vastness of the universe.
