The governor of Jazan region, Prince Mohammed bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, today launched the 20th annual Mango and Tropical Fruits Festival at Sabya Governorate.
Prince Mohammed bin Nasser and the attendees toured the mango exhibition, where 60 farmers displayed the best types of mango and other tropical fruits that the region is famous for, including papaya, bananas, figs, and guava.
He observed government departments in a specialized exhibition to introduce farmers and visitors to the support programs and services provided for the development and sustainability of agriculture in the region.
The festival aims to invest in the agricultural potential of the Jazan region and support farmers to produce more agricultural products with high economic feasibility.
