Saudi Arabia Reports 85 New COVID-19 Cases, 49 Recoveries

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that 85 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 49 recoveries have been registered in the kingdom in the past 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health said in their statement that the number of active cases reached 2,382, including 405 critical cases.

The statistics showed that the total number of infections in the country reached 546,336, while the recovery tally reached 535,309.

"Five new deaths, bringing fatalities tally in the Kingdom to 8,645," the statement said.

The Ministry of Health advised everyone to contact the toll free (937) for consultations and inquiries around the clock, to obtain health information and services.
