Saudi Arabia launches Iftar program in Nepal

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance has launched the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman iftar program in Nepal in accordance with the country's approved protocols for coronavirus, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday.

The program was in the presence of Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Nepal; Musaed Al-Marwani, as well as the Minister of State and head of the Islamic National Authority in Nepal, Dr. Shamim Al-Ansari.

The program also includes distributing 466 food baskets across the country, benefiting 16,310 individuals.

The Islamic affairs ministry also continues to implement the program; through its cultural centers and religious attachés offices in the Saudi Embassies in 16 countries around the world.
