How to extend single and multiple-entry visit visas via Absher

Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Passports has enabled citizens and residents to extend both single and multiple-entry visit visas through the Absher platform.

The directorate explained that citizens and residents can extend visit visas—whether single or multiple-entry—using the visit visa extension service on Absher.

The steps to access the service are as follows:

• Log in to the Absher website

• Select “My Services”

• Choose “Passports”

• Select “Visitor Services”

The directorate stated that the service allows individuals to extend visit visas for guests, provided the extension is requested from the host’s Absher account and there are no outstanding traffic violations recorded against the visitor.

Additional requirements include valid medical insurance for the visitor, payment of the visa extension fee, a valid visitor passport, and the visitor’s presence inside the Kingdom.

The remaining validity of the visa to be extended must be seven days or less, or the extension can be requested within three days after the visa’s expiry date, including the day it expires.
