Saudi National Day 2026: official holiday date and top greetings

Saudi Arabia will celebrate its 96th National Day on Wednesday, September 23, a national occasion marked by festivities and events held on the day and in the days leading up to it.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced that the 96th Saudi National Day holiday for the private and non-profit sectors will coincide with the Kingdom’s celebrations.

The ministry stated on its X platform page that Wednesday, 12 Rabi Al-Thani 1448 AH, corresponding to September 23, 2026, will be an official holiday for employees in the private and non-profit sectors.

The ministry noted that the holiday is based on Article 24 of the executive regulations of the Labor Law, and emphasized that employers must comply with the procedures outlined in paragraph two of the article.
