The National Center for Meteorology has issued its weather forecast for Wednesday, corresponding to 13-3-1448 in the Hijri calendar, predicting moderate to heavy thunderstorms that may cause flash floods, accompanied by hail and strong winds stirring dust and sand across parts of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Madinah.

For the Red Sea, northwesterly to westerly surface winds will be active over the northern and central sections at speeds of 18-42 km/h, while in the southern section, winds will shift from northwesterly and westerly to southeasterly and southwesterly after noon, reaching 10-32 km/h and exceeding 50 km/h during thunderstorms.

Wave heights will range from half a meter to one and a half meters, rising to over two meters in the southern section during thunderstorms.
