Saudi passports authority launches name translation update for domestic workers on Absher

The General Directorate of Passports has announced the launch of a service enabling employers to update the translated names of their domestic workers through the Absher platform. This service allows employers to electronically modify the translated name of any domestic worker in their employment with ease.

According to a statement on X, the Passports Authority explained that employers can access the service by logging into Absher, navigating to the domestic workers section, selecting resident services, choosing the relevant worker, and then selecting the option to update the translated name.

The service covers updating the English-translated name for domestic workers of Arab nationalities, and updating the Arabic-translated name for those of non-Arab nationalities.
