The Citizen’s Account program has clarified the reason behind the 'zero payment' status appearing for some beneficiaries, even when they are eligible for support.

A beneficiary asked the Citizen’s Account program why his payment status was zero, despite both he and his family being eligible for support.

The program explained that a 'zero payment' status means the total income of the beneficiary and any dependents (if applicable) exceeds the support threshold. The amount of support varies from one family to another based on family composition and total income.

It added that beneficiaries can check their eligibility amount using the program’s online calculator at Portal.ca.gov.sa.

Citizen’s Account disbursement

The Citizen’s Account program announced the disbursement of the 105th payment for August 2026, with total support reaching 3 billion riyals (SAR), benefiting 9.9 million recipients and dependents. The program clarified that this month’s payment includes the additional allocation.

Beneficiaries whose applications are complete can view their entitlement amount through the program’s official online portal.

Eligibility review for dependents in Citizen’s Account

The Citizen’s Account program explained when the eligibility of a newly added dependent is reviewed, stating that the timing of addition determines the review cycle.

According to the program’s official X account, if a dependent is added before the 10th of the month, their eligibility will be reviewed in the next cycle.

It added that if the dependent is added after the 10th, their eligibility will be reviewed in the cycle following the next one.
