MWL Condemns Terrorist Attack on Security Checkpoint in Egypt

The Muslim World League (MWL) condemned today the terrorist attack on a security checkpoint in the city of Ismailia, Egypt, resulting in a number of deaths and injuries.

In a statement, the General Secretariat of the MWL quoted the Secretary General Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, who is also Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, as denouncing this criminal act, reaffirming the rejection and condemnation of his organization and the entire Islamic world of all its forms of extremism, violence and terrorism. He expressed sincere condolence to the families of the victims, and to the government and people of Egypt.
