Saudi education ministry unveils new tech platform and major training drive

Al-Benyan said 200 new buildings have been provided for the private education sector, offering 160,000 additional seats. He noted that more than 36 million textbooks were delivered to schools before the summer break.
He added that, starting this year, teachers' attendance at school will end with the conclusion of the school day, according to each school's schedule.
He continued, "Seventy percent of Saudi scholarship students are enrolled at the world’s top 50 universities, and more than 45,000 students have joined specialized schools to support gifted learners."
Al-Benyan revealed that over 4,000 teachers have been trained to identify gifted students, and more than 495,000 students have participated in qualifying competitions. He confirmed that several specialized schools have been established to nurture student talent.
The minister also announced the official launch of the “Education Gateway,” a unified portal providing access to all education services in one place.
