Saudi passport authority launches new labor residency report on Absher Business

The General Directorate of Passports now allows employers to issue reports detailing the duration of their workers' stay in the Kingdom through the Absher Business platform.

According to a statement on X, the Passports authority explained that the new service enables employers to view and document the length of stay for employees under their sponsorship, with the option to print the report electronically.

The service can be accessed by logging into the Absher Business website, selecting "My Business Services," and then choosing "Resident Stay Duration Report."

Updating resident ID photo

Absher has also outlined the process for updating a resident's ID photo electronically.

This service allows residents to submit a request to update their personal photo for their resident ID through the Absher app.

To use the service, users should log in to the Absher app, select "My Services," and then choose "Update Resident Photo."

Service to separate dependents from resident records

The General Directorate of Passports has announced the launch of an online service to separate dependents from a resident's record via the Absher platform, eliminating the need to visit passport offices in person.

The authority explained that the new service allows residents to electronically separate one of their dependents by following specific steps on the platform.

To use the service, users should log in to Absher, select "Family Member Services," then "Resident Services," choose the dependent, and finally select the "Separate Dependent Resident" service.
