The Saudi General Directorate of Passports has explained, via its official account on X, the process for issuing Saudi passports for family members under the age of 21 through the Absher platform. This electronic service allows procedures to be completed without the need to visit passport offices in person.

Steps to issue a passport for family members

The directorate stated that the service enables citizens to issue passports for their family members by following a series of electronic steps: log in to the Absher platform, select "Family Member Services," then "Saudi Family Member Passport Services," followed by "New Request," choose the beneficiary, and finally issue the passport.

This service is part of the directorate's efforts to enhance digital services and facilitate efficient and speedy completion of citizens' transactions through Absher.
