Citizen’s Account to review eligibility in October for post-August 10 appeals

The Citizen’s Account program has clarified the timeline for reviewing the eligibility status of beneficiaries whose appeals were approved after August 10. The clarification came in response to an inquiry from a user on the program’s official beneficiary support account on X.

A beneficiary explained that he was previously deemed ineligible, but after a successful re-evaluation, he submitted an appeal regarding his eligibility status. Although the appeal was approved, his account still showed as 'ineligible,' prompting him to ask about the next steps required to complete the process.

In response, the Citizen’s Account program stated that if an appeal is approved after August 10, the beneficiary’s eligibility will be reviewed, and they will be notified of their updated status by checking the 'Eligibility' section in their account.

The program added that the eligibility review will take place during the October cycle and advised beneficiaries to monitor their status through their accounts on the official platform.
