Iranian Regime work to Threaten Regional Security

The Iranian regime always seeks to threaten regional security, in addition to destabilizing and deteriorating the humanitarian situation in Lebanon, Yemen and other Arab countries, by using its proxies in their territories, Al-Riyadh and Al-Yaum newspapers reported.

They further said that in this regard, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia called on the international community before the Conference on Disarmament (CD) in Geneva, to extend the arms embargo on Iran, reiterating that lifting international embargo on Iran regarding its conventional and non-conventional weapons will lead to more conflicts in the region, which has suffered so much from Iranian interference.

The papers cited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts and keenness to achieve security and stability in the region.
In another context, Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has exerted great and unprecedented efforts in confronting COVID-19.

It stressed that these Saudi efforts succeeded in achieving views of international convergence through G20 Extraordinary Summit presided over by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, which have effectively contributed to mitigate the consequences of COVID-19.

The paper concluded that the Saudi experience has been recognized by the international community as a pioneering system in health and medical care fields, along with the precautionary measures which have contributed to the success of Hajj season.
