The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud presented King Abdulaziz Necklace to Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of the Sultanate of Oman in appreciation of the Omani Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
For his part, the Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman also presented Al-Said Order, the highest Omani medal, to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
Then, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman witnessed, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding on establishing the Saudi-Omani Coordination Council.
The document was co-signed by Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi, Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman.
The signing of the MoU was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, who is also the guide minister of the Omani visiting delegation; Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and National Security Adviser; and Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, Minister of Commerce.
On the Omani side, the event was attended by His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al-Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al-Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; General Sultan bin Mohammed Al-Nu'amani, Minister of Royal Office; and Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al-Busaidi, Minister of Interior.
