Ministry clarifies rules for obtaining multiple Umrah visas in one year

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has clarified that pilgrims can obtain a new Umrah visa within the same year. The clarification came in response to a query submitted via the ministry’s official account on the X platform.

A follower had asked whether it is possible for a pilgrim to receive another Umrah visa in the same year if they have used the full validity of the first visa, which can last up to 90 days, and whether two visas are allowed per year or only one.

The ministry responded that it is possible to issue another Umrah visa if only a few days remain on the current visa or after the permitted stay period has ended.

This clarification is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to address pilgrims’ questions about the regulations and procedures for issuing Umrah visas and the permitted duration of stay.
