President of the Human Rights Commission Dr. Awwad Bin Saleh Al-Awwad, received here today Chargé d'Affairs of the U.S. Embassy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Martina Strong.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common interest, including the aspects of cooperation in the field of human rights.

Dr. Al-Awwad reviewed the reforms and developments that the Kingdom is witnessing under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince in the field of promoting and protecting human rights, noting that this major shift in the Kingdom's reform policy was marked by the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which aims to achieve a prestigious position for the Kingdom, with the human being as its main focus.
