The official spokesman of the Civil Defense Directorate in Jazan Col. Mohammed bin Yehya Al-Ghamdi said a hostile projectile that was launched by the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia from inside the Yemeni territory toward the industrial zone in Ahad Al Masarihah in Jazan Region resulted in material damage to three industrial workshops in addition to burning three civilian vehicles.

Attempts on civilian targets are a clear violation of international law, Col. Al-Ghamdi said, adding that procedures adopted in such cases have been immediately implemented.

Meanwhile, Egypt has condemned the Houthi militia's continuing cowardly terrorist attacks on Saudi Arabia, the latest of which was against the industrial city in Jazan.

Saudi air defense forces have meanwhile intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles launched toward Abha city.

In a statement, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that the repeated targeting of civilian facilities and innocent civilians by the Houthi militia is a threat to the security and stability of the Kingdom and a flagrant violation of international law.

Egypt expressed its full solidarity with the Kingdom regarding the measures it is taking to confront these despicable terrorist attacks.

The ministry stressed the close connection between the security and stability of the two countries.
