Al-Benyan stated that over 36 million textbooks were delivered to schools before the summer break, ensuring that schools are ready to welcome students at the start of the new school year.

Regarding teachers, the minister noted that starting this year, teachers’ presence at school will end with the school day, according to each school’s schedule, as part of efforts to organize work in line with school needs.

On nurturing gifted students, the ministry revealed that more than 4,000 male and female teachers have been trained to identify talented students. Over 495,000 students took part in qualifying competitions, and several specialized schools have been established to support and develop students’ abilities.

In the technology sphere, Al-Benyan confirmed that the ministry is working with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and Humain to launch a pilot project aimed at leveraging modern technologies to reduce teachers’ operational and administrative burdens, allowing them to focus more on educational tasks.

These preparations are part of the ministry’s broader efforts to ready schools, staff, and students for the new academic year, with a focus on improving the learning environment, nurturing talent, and utilizing technology to enhance education.
