The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) predicted that most regions of the Kingdom will experience moderate to heavy rain during the days from Tuesday to Thursday this week.
According to the center's weather forecast, heavy rain; accompanied by surface winds and showers of hail will hit regions of Makkah, Riyadh, Eastern Province, Al-Baha, and Al-Qassim. The Jeddah governorate and other areas in the Makkah region are experiencing increasing cloudiness on Tuesday and heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorm is expected in some parts of the region in the afternoon.
The NCM said in a statement that Madinah; Jazan; Hail; Tabuk; Al-Jouf; and the Northern Borders Region will receive light to moderate rain during these days. The rain is also likely to continue in most regions from Friday; until the beginning of next week, the statement said.
