Greece PM enumerates Importance of “Middle East Green Initiative Summit”

Prime Minister of the Republic of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis, stressed during the "Middle East Green Initiative Summit', inaugurated in Riyadh by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister, the importance of the summit, which, he said, takes place at an important time before the meeting in Glasgow during the next few days.

He pointed out to his country's commitment, as a member of the European Union (EU), along with the EU members, to make Europe a net zero carbon continent by 2050, and reduce greenhouse gases by 55% by 2030.
