Crown Prince concludes MEGI Summit: We will work seriously to achieve our goals

Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy prime minister and minister of defense; announced the conclusion of the "Middle East Green Initiative Summit"; held Monday in Riyadh, with wide international participation led by heads of states, leaders of world countries and decision-makers.

The initiative, presented by Saudi Arabia, is to draw a regional road map to preserve and enhance life quality; address the challenges of climate change; and make a global difference in the conservation of nature, humans and the wildlife.

In his speech at the closing ceremony of the summit, the Crown Prince said: "We, in the Middle East; are fully aware that there is a challenge; and that there are very great opportunities for our countries; so we are holding a summit today with clear goals for our countries and we will work seriously."

"Similar summits will be held in succession to follow up the objectives; achieved and what needs to be achieved in the future. We will stand before the world with achievements we are proud of in the Middle East," the Crown Prince reiterated; expressing appreciation of all participants in the Summit for their participation and cooperation.
