First, Yemenis whose residency permits have expired or who are reported absent from work must present a valid Yemeni passport and a medical examination. They can complete the regularization process electronically through the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s digital platforms—Absher, Qiwa for professional workers, and Musaned for domestic workers—without needing to visit government offices in person.
Second, those with expired visitor IDs or any type of expired visit visa, and whose biometric data is registered in Saudi systems, will have their visas extended electronically for six months without visiting passport offices. A valid passport is required.
Third, individuals without Yemeni documents or passports should access the Absher platform, select the correction site, and book an appointment. They must then visit the designated location at the scheduled time, bringing documents that prove Yemeni nationality, such as a passport or a travel document issued by their embassy.
