At MDLBeast; safety ambassadors ensure security among festivalgoers

MDLBeast; the music entertainment company organizing Soundstorm festival; the region's largest and most prominent music festival; has unveiled unprecedented security and safety measures in order to provide an optimal experience for the festivalgoers.

The organizing company implemented strict measures in order to prevent any improper behavior to secure the fully booked event; held in Banban area in Riyadh between 16 and 19 December.

Nada El-Halabi; Strategic Director of MDL Beast said: "We are keen to markedly ensure that all attendees have the perfect experience at this year's Soundstorm Festival. By adopting safety and security measures that exceed international standards; we seek to ensure to deal with any emergency with an appropriate manner; and provide a safe environment that allows everyone – men and women – to enjoy the activities of the festival."

She added: "As part of our keenness to achieve this goal; we markedly worked on developing a code of conduct that clarifies the acceptable behavior of others and strengthening the security forces; personnel and guides at MDLBeast with a team of 1;500 volunteers as safety ambassadors at the festival."

More than 8;000 security specialists and an intervention team are deployed at the event site; providing about one guard for every 30 festival-goers; in addition to providing 335 surveillance cameras covering all parts of the venue; A group of experienced security officials roams the event site; while a centrally located team of security professionals monitors and reports any emergency so that the situation can be assessed and the appropriate response decision taken in cooperation with local authorities.
