Arab-African Summit postponed to first Q of 2020

The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States announced today that, according to a decision of the host country,the Arab-African Summit, previously scheduled for Riyadh on November 25, 2019, is postponed to sometime during the first quarter of 2020.

In a pressstatement, the Arab League said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, host of thesummit, reported to the AL Secretariat general, conveying Saudi Arabia'sauthorities decision to postpone the summit to a new date during the firstquarter of 2020.

Thestatement added that Riyadh summit will be the fifth of its kind to be held inthe context of the strategic partnership that brings together Arab and Africancountries.
