Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States (GCC) Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf stressed the importance of the GCC-British relations and the promotion of the economic and trade cooperation within the framework of the joint action plan between the Council and the United Kingdom.
This came during his meeting here today with UK International Trade Minister Ranil Jayawardena.
During the meeting, they reviewed the reports of the GCC-British joint team concerned with studying ways to enhance trade and investment exchange between the GCC and the United Kingdom based on the strategic relationship between the two sides and the mutual interest in developing areas of partnership to serve the common interests.
