Saudi Arabia’s Citizen’s Account program has clarified how assets are evaluated and whether hiring domestic workers affects eligibility for support.

Does hiring a domestic worker affect Citizen’s Account support?

A beneficiary asked the Citizen’s Account program whether hiring a domestic worker would impact their support. The program responded that assets are assessed by verifying their value with official and accredited authorities.

It added that assessable assets include the value of real estate, vehicles, cash assets, investment portfolios, and the number of domestic workers. If an applicant meets the eligibility criteria and is deemed eligible, they will continue to receive support.

Citizen’s Account payment schedule

The Citizen’s Account program clarified the status of support requests submitted after August 10, stating that applications submitted after this date will have their eligibility reviewed.

The program added that applicants will be notified once they meet eligibility requirements, and they can check their status by visiting the “Eligibility” section for the October cycle.

Regarding the September 2026 payment (batch 106), the program confirmed that support is disbursed on the tenth day of each Gregorian month, or a day before or after if it falls on a weekend. The payment for batch 106 will be issued on Thursday, September 10, 2026.
