How to check eligibility for Social Security, cycle 56 announced

The Social Security and Empowerment System has announced the eligibility results for Social Security cycle 56. Beneficiaries can now check their eligibility status through the Support and Protection platform.

The Social Security and Empowerment account confirmed that the eligibility results for cycle 56 have been released and can be viewed on the Social Support and Protection platform.

To check your Social Security eligibility for August 2026, visit the Support and Protection platform and follow these steps:

• Go to the updated Social Security portal from here.

• Enter your ID number, password, and verification code.

• Log in using the National Access service.

• Select "My Support Programs."

• Choose the Social Security program.

• Select "Eligibility and Entitlement."

• The current month's payment and eligibility status will appear.

Social Security objections

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has outlined the steps to appeal a Social Security eligibility rejection.

To file an objection, access the following sections: My Support Programs, Social Security Program, Eligibility and Entitlement, review eligibility cycle details, submit an objection, attach the required documents according to the reason for objection, and then submit your appeal.

Social Security payment schedule

According to the Social Security system, eligibility for applicants is reviewed before the 9th of each Gregorian month, with results announced on the 27th of each month.

If a new application is submitted after the 9th, eligibility will be reviewed the following month.

Social Security pensions are disbursed to beneficiaries at the start of each Gregorian month. The next cycle will be paid on August 1, 2026. If this date falls on an official holiday, payment may be advanced.

Beneficiaries can check the status of their Social Security pension by visiting the Social Security website, accessing the updated inquiry service, entering their civil registry number and Social Security number, entering the human verification code displayed, and clicking "View Details."
