Traffic fine payment procedures

The official Saudi Traffic Department account on X has reiterated the procedures for paying or contesting traffic fines in accordance with Article 75.

The procedures for paying or objecting to traffic fines are as follows:

30 days: Offenders have the right to contest or pay the fine within 30 days of notification, with a 25% reduction in the fine amount if paid within this period.

15 days: The fine must be paid or an extension of the payment period requested within 15 days via Absher, which allows for an additional 60 days. If the period ends without an extension request, the fine amount will be enforced and collected.

60 days: The fine can be paid within 30 days at a 25% discount if paid within this window, or within 60 days at the full amount.
