Absher, Absher Business offer final exit visa service during probation

The General Directorate of Passports has introduced a service allowing employers to issue final exit visas for workers during their probation period. For commercial workers, this service is available through the Absher Business platform, enabling employers to issue visas electronically without visiting passport offices.

This service specifically targets employers of commercial workers, providing a fast and easy way to issue final exit visas during the worker’s trial period via the dedicated business platform.

The service is entirely free of charge. Once the visa is issued, it cannot be canceled, nor can the resident identity (Iqama) be renewed, which helps streamline and expedite procedures.

The directorate aims to support digital transformation, simplify processes, and achieve a paperless passport sector through these services.

Issuing a final exit visa for domestic workers and resident family members during probation

Citizens who have resident family members or domestic workers can issue a final exit visa via the regular Absher platform by first logging in to their account.

After logging in, users select visa services from the e-services menu, choose the individual for whom they wish to issue a visa (either exit/re-entry or final exit), enter the required information, then select the (Issue Final Exit Visa) option and print the visa.

The Passports Directorate also clarified that if a final exit visa is issued during the probation period, it cannot be canceled and departure must occur before the visa expires.
