Registration dates and steps announced for 2026 General Aptitude Test

The Education and Training Evaluation Commission has announced the schedule for the 2026 General Aptitude Test, which measures verbal and quantitative skills related to learning processes—such as analytical, deductive, and inferential abilities—among high school graduates from all tracks seeking admission to higher education institutions.

2026 General Aptitude Test for students

The commission clarified that the digital General Aptitude Test is available year-round for students in the second and third years of secondary school, while the paper-based test is available for third-year secondary students only.

Registration for the 2026 General Aptitude Test for male students began on Monday, while registration for female students is set to open on Wednesday.

The test will be held from December 10 to 14, 2026.

Students can register for the 2026 General Aptitude Test through the Sadeed platform at sadeed.etec.gov.sa

The commission also noted that students from the second year of secondary school and above have five opportunities to take the General Aptitude Test, with a maximum of four attempts for each of the paper-based and digital formats.
