The 26th meeting of the Customs Procedures and Information Committee kicked off on Monday at the Arab League under the chairmanship of Head of Customs Procedures Unit at the General Authority of Customs in the State of Qatar Issa bin Rashid Al-Suwaidi, with the participation of representatives of customs departments in the Arab countries, to discuss a number of issues and files related to this matter.
The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the meeting was headed by Director of the Import and Export Department at the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority Ali Al-Shehri.
In a statement on the sidelines of the meeting, Al-Suwaidi said that they discussed the steps taken to launch the Arab Customs Information Center and the electronic exchange of customs information among the Arab countries.
