Absher details online process to separate dependents over 18 from expat records

The Absher platform, operated by the Ministry of Interior, has announced that expatriate residents can now electronically separate dependents who have reached the age of 18 from the family record. The process can be completed easily online without the need to visit any government office.

According to a post on Absher’s official account on X, the "Separate Dependent Record for Residents" service enables the head of an expatriate family to remove any family member aged 18 or older from the family record electronically.

Absher outlined the following steps to use the service:

• Log in to the Absher platform.

• Select "Family Member Services."

• Choose "Resident Services."

• Select the beneficiary.

• Choose "Separate Dependent."

This service is part of Absher’s suite of electronic offerings, designed to simplify and expedite family and residency procedures for users.
