National Economy Demonstrates High Efficient Flexibility in Facing Effects of COVID-19

The approval by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz of the proposal made by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, regarding directing government agencies to acquire artistic works and national craft products in their headquarters has affirmed the leadership's appreciation and interest in the value of culture and arts, Al-Riyadh newspaper reported.

The paper added that this unprecedented step confirms that art and culture are important features and an essential part of the ambitious national transformation in our country under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince.

The national economy has demonstrated high efficient flexibility in facing the unprecedented negative effects being imposed by the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, Al-Bilad newspaper reported.

The paper added that this great progress was made through strong initiatives with deep social goals in supporting the stability of citizens and the private sector, while many countries in the world with large economies are witnessing fragile financial and health systems.

Meanwhile, Al-Yuam newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia spares no effort in serving pilgrims as usual throughout the years.

The paper added that in regard to this year's Hajj in light of this exceptional circumstances due to Novel Coronavirus Pandemic, the concerned government agencies have carried out precautionary measures and preventive protocols while receiving and transporting the pilgrims.

The paper concluded that within the limited numbers allowed to perform this year's Hajj, pilgrims coming from five cites in Saudi Arabia arrived at the new King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah with implementation of health protocols with full coordination between the ministries and the concerned authorities.
