The Muslim World League (MWL) has condemned Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia's attempts to target civilians in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the recent attack on Khamis Mushait city using a bomb-laden UAV and on maritime shipping lines using bomb-laden boats, which threaten international trade and energy supply.

In a recent statement, the Secretary General of the MWL Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa has called for intensified international efforts to put an end to the Iranian-backed Houthi militias' terrorist attacks which pose a serious threat to the security and stability of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the entire region and the international trade.

In its statement issued on behalf of the MWL's councils and affiliates, the MWL affirmed full support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's measures to defeat all forms of terrorism and safeguard the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's peace and regional security.
