Al Murjan a leading Saudi Arabian family business group, announces a partnership with Mediclinic Middle East; an affiliate of Mediclinic International, for the establishment of an internationally accredited private hospital with 200 beds in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Mediclinic Middle East will also manage the Hospital and support Al Murjan Group; with expertise and advisory services in the planning, design, construction. Commissioning the hospital is to open by the second quarter of 2022.

Situated in a prime location on King Abdul Aziz Road in the northern part of Jeddah, Mediclinic Al Murjan Hospital will address the growing demand for private healthcare in in the Kingdom.
The hospital, designed and to be completed to international standards, will also comprise of eight floors; offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. This is including general surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, emergency, as well as trauma care.
Phase 1 of the hospital, which is 80,000 m2, will extend on an 18,000 m2 land area; with an investment of over SR1bn. Besides, the expansion capacity of another 200 beds on adjacent land set aside for this purpose.
Mediclinic's entry into the growing private healthcare market in Saudi Arabia is in line with Mediclinic's strategic goal. This is to grow in existing markets and expand into new markets.
The Group will leverage the operational capabilities of its UAE headquarters in Dubai to manage Al Murjan Mediclinic Hospital. It will use this opportunity for further expansion across the Kingdom.
