On behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and governor of Makkah Region, Monday washed the Holy Kaaba in the presence of his deputy Prince Bandar Bin Sultan, Acting Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Issam Bin Saad Bin Saeed and President of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais.

Prince Khalid washed the inside of the Holy Kaaba with a mixture of Zamzam water and rose water through rubbing the wall of the Holy Kaaba with a piece of wet cloth of the mixture that had been prepared earlier by the Presidency, amidst high preventive measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Sheikh Dr. Al-Sudais stressed that the occasion of washing the Holy Kaaba highlights the great attention; Saudi Arabia's wise leadership places to the Two Holy Mosques.

He also praised the great care of the wise leadership to the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors; since the reign of the late Founder King Abdulaziz Bin Abdulrahman Al Saud; until the prosperous reign of King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.
