The Red Sea coastline of Jazan undergoes a remarkable transformation at twilight, as the landscape gradually shifts between the last light of day and the onset of night. As the sun’s rays fade and the sky’s colors deepen, locals and visitors alike head to the waterfronts to enjoy memorable walks, leisure time, and panoramic sunset views stretching to the horizon.

Twilight brings a dynamic scene to Jazan’s shores that extends beyond the sunset itself. The transformation begins just before dusk and continues as the sky’s hues change into the evening, when artificial lights illuminate the promenades and walkways, ushering in a tranquil nighttime rhythm along the coast.

The region’s coastline stretches nearly 200 kilometers from Al-Shaqiq Beach in the north to Al-Mawsim Beach in the south, dotted with waterfronts and beaches that have become open spaces for recreation, sports, and sunset watching. These areas are supported by a range of facilities and services designed to welcome both residents and visitors.

In Jazan city, a variety of seaside destinations attract evening visitors. The recently opened “Sunset Walkway” stands out, extending 600 meters into the sea and offering a waterfront area of more than 20,000 square meters. It features 55 seating areas for individuals and families, playgrounds, walking paths, and outlets for local businesses.

The new Al-Marjan Waterfront in Jazan offers another option for evening outings. Located on the southern shore of Al-Marjan Island and covering 63,000 square meters, it provides entertainment facilities and open spaces that welcome residents and visitors year-round.
