Black Mountain lookout offers new tourism experience in Rith

The Black Mountain lookout in Rith governorate has emerged as the latest tourist destination designed to inspire visitors to the Jazan region, offering them an exceptional experience that embraces nature and reveals the secrets of the highlands. Set at lofty elevations where mist drifts and peaks merge with slopes, the site provides a unique natural encounter.

Jazan Municipality has developed around 3,500 square meters across various sites, including the Black Mountain lookout, which spans approximately 1,400 square meters. This is part of efforts to prepare mountain sites and provide additional options for visitors to enjoy the area’s natural beauty.

The wooden walkway stands out as the main feature of the lookout, stretching more than 250 meters along the rugged mountain terrain. It places visitors at the heart of the landscape, offering panoramic views of towering peaks, enchanting slopes, and historic mountain villages.

During the summer, Black Mountain attracts visitors seeking a mountain atmosphere, with clouds and mist frequently enveloping its heights. The lookout has expanded recreational options, providing a space that combines walking, scenic views, and enjoyment of the natural surroundings.

The development of the lookout reflects a move to enrich the tourism experience at Black Mountain, capitalizing on its vistas, vegetation, terraced farms, and mountain villages that blend with scenes of clouds and mist.
