Hail International Arabian Horse Show upgraded to category B

The King Abdulaziz Center for Purebred Arabian Horses has approved upgrading the Hail International Arabian Horse Show’s classification to category B for 2026, placing it among the most prominent purebred Arabian horse beauty competitions and qualifying it for participation in global championships. This move reflects the rapid development of the event and its growing international standing.

The decision follows ongoing support and attention from Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Hail Region, whose continuous oversight has driven improvements in the event’s organization and technical standards. His efforts have also helped strengthen the show’s presence on the global map of Arabian horse beauty competitions, supporting the equestrian sector and enhancing Saudi Arabia’s reputation for hosting and organizing international events in line with Vision 2030 goals.

The upgrade is the result of collaborative efforts by participating government entities, as well as contributions from sponsors and supporters. Their backing has helped advance the show’s organizational and technical standards, boosting its profile both locally and internationally.
