Al-Qurayyat boosts recreation with 25 parks and 9 sports fields

Al-Qurayyat in Al-Jouf province welcomes families and young people with 25 public parks and 9 sports fields, offering spaces for leisure and sports activities.

The Al-Jouf Municipality said it regularly maintains and upgrades parks and recreational areas as part of its annual maintenance plan, intensifying cleaning and upkeep ahead of busy periods such as holidays and the summer break.

The municipality noted that 25 parks have been developed, covering a total area of more than 1,300,000 square meters, including 700,000 square meters of green spaces, to provide a suitable environment for visitors.

Sports fields and public squares

The Al-Qurayyat Municipality has prepared 9 sports fields spanning nearly 39,000 square meters, along with 13 mosque squares covering 63,000 square meters, as part of ongoing efforts to humanize cities and enhance quality of life.

These initiatives are part of Al-Jouf Municipality’s drive to improve recreational and sports services in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
