FLP Burger boosts monthly revenue 163% with Keeta partnership, expands to Dammam
Saudi fast-food chain FLP Burger saw a 163% surge in monthly profits and opened a Dammam branch after joining Keeta, expanding beyond Jubail.
Key Takeaways
AIA partnership between FLP Burger, a Saudi fast-food brand, and Keeta has led to a 163% increase in monthly profits and the opening of a second branch in Dammam during the first nine months after joining the platform, from July 2025 to April 2026.
FLP Burger, known for allowing customers to customize their burgers with prices ranging from 35 to 88 riyals (SAR), joined Keeta in July 2025, when it operated a single dine-in location in Jubail. By late 2025, the restaurant expanded by opening a drive-thru branch in Dammam. The brand holds a 4.5 out of 5-star rating based on over 1,000 Keeta user reviews, and is now planning further expansion into Al-Baha and Qassim.
Like many independent restaurants moving into delivery services, FLP Burger was initially hesitant to absorb the cost of free delivery before reaching a sufficient order volume to justify the expense, especially as it was new to Keeta and lacked a sales history on the platform to guide its decision.
To address this challenge, Keeta's Jubail team held several meetings with the restaurant owner, sharing performance data from similar outlets to provide realistic expectations for order volume. The "Reduced Delivery Fee" (RDF) tool was the first feature activated when the restaurant joined the platform, and within a few weeks, the volume of orders eased the owner's concerns about the cost of free delivery.
Later, Keeta introduced a 25% discount on selected menu items along with a "Free Delivery" badge, which increased the brand's visibility on the platform, helped sustain order flow, and encouraged repeat purchases.
These steps translated into strong results: monthly profits rose 163%, and monthly item sales increased by 164% between July 2025 and April 2026. Completed orders grew by 24.33% to reach 2,800 per month, while canceled orders dropped by 23.53%.
Commenting on the experience, FLP Burger owner Mohammed Al-Burqan said: "Our customers loved what we offered from the start, but we were unsure if delivery would cover its costs, especially with free delivery. Before joining Keeta, their team shared results from similar restaurants, and after launching on the platform, orders started coming in within weeks, which convinced us to open our drive-thru branch in Dammam."
Jason Shin, General Manager of Keeta in Saudi Arabia, said: "Small restaurants are rightfully cautious about cost-related decisions. Before FLP Burger joined Keeta, we shared performance data from similar outlets so the owner could assess the opportunity, then provided the tools needed to boost demand after launch. Seeing a local brand expand from Jubail to a second branch in Dammam within months is the kind of growth we aim to support in the SME sector and across the Kingdom."
FLP Burger's experience highlights how access to data and digital tools can help local restaurants reduce the risks of entering the delivery market and seize opportunities to grow beyond their original cities.
As Keeta, the international subsidiary of Meituan—China's on-demand delivery giant—continues to expand its merchant network in Saudi Arabia, the company remains focused on equipping small and medium enterprises with the tools, data, and support needed to grow. This aligns with Saudi Arabia's broader goals to develop the SME sector and advance digital transformation under Vision 2030.
